For those of you who leave the Black Hills in the summertime, we would like to invite you back in the Fall of the year because the weather and the colors are just wonderful. We did have our share of colder than usual stuff already this year, but now things have leveled off and it is day after day of bright sunshine and cool nights.

October provided the Rochford community with an excuse to have a potluck dinner and a raffle to raise money for the monthly fees on our newly installed pay-phone. Most everyone knows that cell phones don't work in the area and we all felt it was a safety issue to have phone service available in case of emergencies. Good food, good music and plenty of money raised .

The purpose of this newsletter will be to let you know the happenings at the Rochford Mall in the months when we seem closed for the season. We'll keep you up to date on the progress of new artwork and other special newsworthy events in and around the area.
