The first Rochford Mall opened it's doors for business in 1999, after Colleen and Jerie had spent a year transforming the abandoned little shed into a place for their business. It was 400 sq ft of shopping pleasure and customers soon associated it with our Trademark name, "The Small of America". The process of renovation took almost a year and the reclaimed building became our home for the next 5 years. During that time we had pretty much outgrown the space, and when the old abandoned gas station across the street came up for sale, we decided to buy it. This new project quickly became our "what WERE we thinking" project !
